Monty had a fun fourth month. A lot of play and enjoying time with mommy and daddy. He is perfectly happy to play by himself or with others.His doctor's appointment went well. He is small for his age but doing very well with his milestones so there was no real concern. Kelly (our pediatrician) continues to say we will have an early walker. Monty came home after the appointment and started rolling over both ways (as if to confirm her message). We had some rough nights of sleep as he woke him during the night on his stomach and was too sleepy to remember how to get back over! After about a week he worked through it and we returned to rest!
We decided to wait to start solids at month 5. The literature seems mixed about when to start to decrease risks of food allergies and food aversions. I was able to message the nurses that developed the Mom's On Call program that I am using for his daily schedule. They quickly responded and gave me some suggestions and comfort on when to start foods. In the mean time I started adding formula into his diet and worked on him taking a bottle every day. With our upcoming trip to Alaska he will need to be comfortable taking a bottle for all meals! He has adjusted beautifully with that during the past month....

We got a "jumper" for him. I had a friend give me an exersaucer which we are using upstairs when I am folding laundry or trying to catch a shower!
He enjoyed a play date with Charlotte and Eli. Monty was very interested in watching the other babies and shared his toys very nicely!

My most special friend Will came by while on his way to bowling. I was so excited that he got to meet Monty! He did a fantastic job holding him.

Mother's Day pictures! It was a great day. I got to take a bit of a nap in the morning. I had breakfast in bed and my boys gave me presents. We had lunch with Chris family and then we returned home for a relaxing evening.
